Tennis legend Bjorn Borg has prostate cancer, it has been widely reported by several Swedish media outlets. An autobiography by Borg and his wife Patricia is to be published on 18 September, in which the 69-year-old will address the subject of his illness.

The book will be published in the USA, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, South America, the Netherlands and Italy and was surrounded by great secrecy until recently.

However, it is now being advertised on Amazon and other digital bookshops, and those adverts have revealed that Borg discusses his cancer in the book, among other things.

Official announcement pending

According to the Swedish magazine Expressen, this information was also shared by a person connected with the book publication.

As of yet, there has been no official confirmation from Borg or his wife, even after several attempts by Expressen to contact them.

Borg is considered one of the greatest personalities in tennis. In his nine-year career, he won the French Open six times and Wimbledon five times.
