Bieber is currently working his way back from Tommy John surgery, already completing four rehab starts in the minor league, most recently tossing 4.1 shutout innings in Triple-A through two starts while striking out 10 and walking just one.

The former Cy Young Award winner and 30-year-old has a career 3.22 earned run average in 136 games (134 starts) with 958 strikeouts in 843 innings.

Bieber has a player option for the 2026 season, meaning that, if he chooses, he can stay with the Blue Jays or opt for free agency.

Guardians fans looking towards the future shouldn't fret - Stephen has been dealing in the minors.

Stephen has a combined 9-1 record with a 2.06 ERA through Single-A, High-A, and Double-A this season. He has 99 strikeouts through 91.2 innings, giving up just 21 earned runs on 65 hits with only 18 walks.

Opponents are hitting .195 against the rookie and former 59th overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.

Stephen had a rough outing in his first and only start so far in Double-A, giving up four earned runs on five hits in five innings.
