Oklahoma City Thunder's Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace are both expected to miss at least several months after both sustained gruesome injuries during Sunday night's 108-101 win over the Los Angeles Clippers

Williams will be out with a dislocated ankle and a fractured fibula, while Wallace is dealing with a torn labrum. The Thunder improved to 3-0, but lost two key pieces who could miss the rest of the season entirely.

Injuries keep piling up for Williams. He finished playing in just 33 regular season games last year after missing the first 19 games as he recovered from wrist surgery, among nagging hamstring issues. Prior to that, Williams played in at least 69 games in his first three years in the league with the Thunder.

He earned his first All-Star selection during the 2024-2025 season, eventually being named to the All-NBA Third Team and the All-Defensive Second Team. Williams put up a career-high in both points per game (21.6) and steals per game (1.6).

As for Wallace, the now four-year guard is coming off a season where he averaged a career-high 8.6 points per game and 1.9 steals per game.
