Tennis Tracker: Pegula coasts through in Austin, Tsitsipas sets up Auger-Aliassime final

It's another important day on the ATP and WTA Tours as tournaments in Dubai, Acapulco, Merida, Austin and Santiago approach the business end of proceedings.

23:05 CET - No.1 seed Jessica Pegula was in a hurry against Anna Blinkova, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-2 in just under an hour as she secured a spot in the Austin semi-finals.

Meanwhile, over in Merida, Elina Avanesyan battled back from a set down against 18-year-old Australian talent Maya Joint to clinch a 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 quarter-final win.

21:41 CET - On her eighth match point, Ajla Tomljanovic finally downed Ena Shibahara in absolute cracker, also saving a match point on her way to a 7-5, 3-6, 7-6(8) victory in Austin.

20:10 CET - Laslo Djere has just won a two hour 40 minute thriller against Jaime Faria, defeating the Portuguese player 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-4 to move into the Santiago semi-finals.

16:45 CET - We have our first finalist in Dubai and it's Felix Auger-Aliassime who continues his remarkable start to 2025 with a come-from-behind 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 victory over Quentin Halys.

The Canadian, who leads the ATP Tour with the most wins this season, moves into his third final of the year. 

He'll face either Stefanos Tsitsipas or Tallon Griekspoor in tomorrow's showpiece. Follow the second semi-final in Dubai right here.

16:02 CET - Felix Auger-Aliassime has drawn level in his semi-final clash against Quentin Halys, with the Canadian breaking in the fifth game of the second set to take it 6-4.

15:09 CET - Could there be an upset on the cards in the opening match of the day in Dubai? Frenchman Quentin Halys - who is in his first ATP 500 semi-final - has taken the first set 7-5 against the in-form Felix Auger-Aliassime.

10:38 CET - Alejandro Tabilo's dismal run of form continued overnight in Santiago, with the second-seeded Chilean falling 6-7(11), 6-4, 3-6 to Federico Coria - Tabilo's seventh successive defeat on Tour.

08:40 CET - Over in Merida, top seed Emma Navarro booked her spot in the quarter-finals after an emphatic 6-1, 6-2 win over Petra Martic in just 67 minutes.

Meanwhile, McCartney Kessler progressed to the last eight in Austin, as the home favourite battled back from a set down to defeat Cristina Bucsa 5-7, 6-3, 7-6(4).

08:28 CET - All four quarter-finals in Acapulco were played overnight, with eighth seed Tomas Machac easing into the last four after a 6-3, 7-5 victory over American teenager Learner Tien.

Denis Shapovalov recovered from a set down to outlast Marcos Giron 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 while Brandon Nakashima and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina also progressed to the semi-final stage.
