The second round of Indian Wells continues to roll on, with more massive names getting their campaigns underway in Tennis Paradise.

08:40 CET - That will be all from the Tennis Tracker. Be sure to tune in later this evening as the third round at Indian Wells gets underway!

07:50 CET - The final few matches of the day in Indian Wells have just been completed, with Emma Navarro winning the match of the tournament so far. Just a month after a thrilling defeat to Sorana Cirstea in Dubai, the American has gained revenge, sealing a 3-6, 6-1, 7-6(3) over the same opponent. Remarkably, Cirstea was 5-3, 40-15, up in the final set, but squandered two match points.

Meanwhile, veteran Gael Monfils secured a very impressive 7-6(2), 7-6(4), victory over Sebastian Korda, who has now lost three matches in a row. Alex De Minaur also progressed, crushing David Goffin 6-2, 6-2.

05:00 CET - Ben Shelton played a solid match in a 6-3, 6-2 win over Mariano Navone. The world number 12 did not face a break point on his serve, winning 80% of his first serve points. The American moves on to face Karen Khachanov.

04:55 CET - It was no nonsense from Diana Shnaider, who defeated Alycia Parks 6-0, 6-1 in 59 minutes. The number 13 seed played an excellent match, converting five of her seven break point opportunities. While she did face a bit of pressure on her serve, she successfully fended off four break points.

04:45 CET - After a tight first set, number one seed Aryna Sabelenka got past McCartney Kessler 7-6 (4), 6-3. The Belarusian dominated her first serve, winning 86% of the points. Having a strong serving performance, Sabalenka never faced a break point throughout the 93-minute match.

03:25 CET - Belinda Bencic gets through a hard-fought match against Amanda Anisimova 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-1 in two hours and 25 minutes. The world number 58 broke her opponent seven times throughout the contest, which played a significant part in the victory. After winning the title in Abu Dhabi a month ago, things are continuing to look up for Bencic.

01:45 CET - The biggest upset of the day sees five-time champion Novak Djokovic get eliminated by lucky loser Botic van de Zandschulp 6-2, 3-6, 6-1. The Dutchman broke Djokovic's serve five times in the match, as the Serb hit 30 unforced errors in the loss. Next for Van de Zandschulp will be Francis Cerundolo.

00:40 CET - Number three seed Coco Gauff was not at her best in her second round match, but pulled through against Moyuka Uchijima 6-4, 3-6. 7-6 (4). The American struggled on her serve, hitting 21 double faults. In a match where both players did not do well at holding their serve, the 20-year-old prevailed in a tiebreak to advance.

00:00 CET - Talented young American Iva Jovic's run at Indian Wells has come to an end despite putting in an impressive performance as she lost to Jasmine Paolini. The Italian sixth seed was put to the test but came out on top 7-6 (7-3), 1-6, 6-3.

23:37 CET - There has been a big upset in California, with Andrey Rublev falling at the hands of Matteo Arnaldi, losing 6-4, 7-5 to his Italian opponent. That is two losses in a row now for the Russian after winning the Doha title back in February.

On the women's side Great Britain's Sonay Kartal has just claimed the biggest win of her career, clinching an emphatic 6-2, 6-1 win over Beatriz Haddad Maia.

23:21 CET - Targeting a three-peat, four-time Grand Slam champion and the highest seed left in the draw Carlos Alcaraz has got his Indian Wells title tilt off to a fine start, beating Frenchman Quentin Halys 6-4, 6-2 in 69 minutes.

23:07 CET - Donna Vekic has put in her best performance in a while to overwhelm Elina Avanesyan 6-3, 6-3 and move into the third round in Tennis Paradise. The victory sees Vekic end a four-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, the resurgent Denis Shapovalov waltzed past Adam Walton, claiming a 6-3, 6-2 win to set up a potential meeting with Carlos Alcaraz.

21:55 CET - Finally (for now), Chile's Alejandro Tabilo has made no mistake by beating Dusan Lajovic 6-3, 7-5 in style.

21:48 CET - After a good start to the year, Felix Auger-Aliassime is out of Indian Wells at the first hurdle with a shock 6-4, 6-2 defeat to Jenson Brooksby.

21:43 CET - Another American star in Taylor Fritz has won his opening match with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Italy's Matteo Gigante.

21:37 CET - Over on the ATP side, a fascinating clash between 13th seed Jack Draper and exciting talent Joao Fonseca has ended with a dominant Draper win. Despite Fonseca causing Draper problems in the first set with some brilliant forehand winners, Draper took control of the second set to win 6-4, 6-0.

21:24 CET - The first couple of results are in for the day as Australian Open winner Madison Keys has defeated Anastasia Potapova 6-3, 6-0 in her first match since winning in Melbourne.

Elsewhere on the WTA side, Maria Sakkari has booked her place in the next round with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Viktoriya Tomova and Polina Kudermetova has stunned Ekaterina Alexandrova 7-5, 6-2.
