It was another enthralling weekend across the world's top leagues with Vinicius Junior and Federico Dimarco among a host of standout performers. As always, we've used our internal rating system to pick out a best XI from all the action.

Here is our latest Team of the Week:

Goalkeeper

Arijanet Muric (Sassuolo), 8.7

Sassuolo won their second match in a row with a 1-0 victory in Verona, and there was little question as to who played the biggest part in sealing those three points.

Muric, on loan from Ipswich, was faced with nine shots on his goal and saved all of them, stopping efforts amounting to 1.42 xGOT. He was also successful in both of his aerial duels.

Defence

Leo Santos (Nacional), 8.9

Leo Santos was instrumental at both ends of the pitch in Nacional's dramatic 3-2 victory over Moreirense at the weekend.

The central defender made it 2-2 with a bullet of a header to get his second goal of the season and won five out of seven aerial duels in total, also making five clearances.

Emin Bayram (Westerlo), 8.8

Another centre-back to impress was Westerlo's Emin Bayram, with the young Turkish player a rock at the back for the Belgian side in their 2-0 win over Leuven.

Bayram won 11 out of 12 duels across the 90 minutes and made 16 clearances, while his passing was also excellent, with 40 of 43 being successful and one creating a big chance.

Federico Dimarco (Inter), 9.9

Falling just short of a perfect 10, Dimarco produced his best performance of the season yet as Inter romped their way to a 4-1 win over Cremonese.

The left-wing back set up his side's second goal with a perfect cross and made it 3-0 himself with a great strike from just outside the box. On top of that, he created a further four chances.

Midfield

Martial Godo (Strasbourg), 9.3

Strasbourg moved up to third in Ligue 1 after an emphatic 5-0 victory over Angers on Sunday, with Martial Godo netting a second-half brace to score his first goals of the season.

Fresh from registering two assists against Slovan Bratislava in midweek, the 22-year-old winger bagged his first goal after converting a rebound before doubling his tally just four minutes later with a powerful close-range finish.

Sebastian Berhalter (Vancouver Whitecaps), 9.3

Berhalter was influential in the Vancouver Whitecaps’ 4-1 win against San Jose Earthquakes, scoring twice as well as laying on an assist for Rayan Elloumi’s goal.

The midfielder’s standout moment was a spectacular strike from 30 yards that flew beyond visiting goalkeeper Daniel and into the top-left corner.

Joey Veerman (PSV), 9.5

Veerman continued his excellent start to the season on Saturday, with the Dutchman producing another eye-catching display in PSV’s convincing away victory at Zwolle.

The 26-year-old has taken up the mantle in recent weeks with PSV missing several key forwards, and he got his name on the scoresheet once again over the weekend, picking out the bottom corner expertly from 12 yards. He also racked up an 89% pass success rate and won all three of his ground duels.

Amahl Pellegrino (San Diego) 9.9

Our second 9.9 rating of the weekend belongs to Amahl Pellegrino, who inspired San Diego to a thrilling 4-2 win at Houston Dynamo in the MLS.

Introduced as a half-time substitute with his side trailing, the Norwegian set up Anders Deyer for an 89th-minute winner before making sure of the three points with a clinical low finish deep into stoppage time.

Attack

Inaki Williams (Athletic Club), 9.1

Athletic Club secured a much-needed victory over Mallorca on Saturday, ending a run of six games without a win across all competitions (D1, L5).

Inaki Williams broke the deadlock for the Lions early on, firing a penalty under the body of Leo Roman to finally get off the mark this campaign, having gone nine matches without a goal.

Ange-Yoan Bonny (Inter), 9.5

Bonny couldn’t have dreamt of a better first start in Inter colours, with the France U21 international directly involved in all four of the Nerazzurri’s goals against Cremonese.

The forward combined with Lautaro Martinez for the game’s first goal before getting his name on the scoresheet with a powerful close-range header. Bonny also provided assists for Dimarco and Nicolo Barella in the second half to cap a magnificent display.

Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid), 10

It was a great weekend for Vinicius Jr. and Real Madrid as Xabi Alonso's side rose to the LaLiga summit, courtesy of an impressive 3-1 home triumph over Villarreal.

The Brazilian has shown glimpses of his best form in recent weeks, and he played a pivotal role in Real's win, opening the scoring with a fierce deflected strike before doubling his tally from the spot.

He also completed six dribbles and won 11 duels during the contest, helping him achieve a perfect 10 rating.
