Ronald Koeman has made one change to his Netherlands starting line-up for the Group F meeting with Sweden in Houston, while the Swedes are unchanged following their winning start to the World Cup.

The one Netherlands change comes in the forward line, where Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey comes in to replace Crysencio Summerville, one of their two goalscorers in the draw with Japan in their opening match.

Summerville takes a place on the bench, where the only absentee is Quinten Timber, who was ruled out of the match having suffered a concussion in training on Thursday. There was speculation ahead of the match that Frenkie de Jong would not be fit to start, but he takes his place in the heart of midfield.

Netherlands XI to face Sweden

Goalkeeper: Bart Verbruggen

Defenders: Denzel Dumfries, Jan Paul van Hecke, Virgil van Dijk, Micky van de Ven

Midfielders: Ryan Gravenberch, Frenkie de Jong, Tijjani Reijnders

Forwards: Brian Brobbey, Donyell Malen, Cody Gakpo

Unsurprisingly, Graham Potter has stuck with the same starting XI that beat Tunisia 5-1 in Monterrey in their opening match. Alexander Isak trained individually during the week and Eric Smith missed recent sessions, but they have been named in the starting line-up and on the substitutes bench, respectively.

Sweden have a full compliment of squad players on the bench to call upon.

Goalkeeper: Kristoffer Nordfeldt

Defenders: Alexander Bernhardsson, Gustaf Lagerbielke, Isak Hien, Victor Lindelof, Gabriel Gudmundsson

Midfielders: Yasin Ayari, Benjamin Nygren, Jesper Karlstrom

Forwards: Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyokeres
