Persistent hip and groin problems will rule FC Midtjylland's Mikel Gogorza out for an indefinite period, says coach Mike Tullberg

Mikel Gogorza is yet to feature this season, and there are indications that the highly talented 19-year-old faces a long road ahead. Mike Tullberg has told media outlet "Herning Folkeblad" that a comeback is not expected anytime soon.

"Mikel is out indefinitely. It’s not a sustainable situation. He hasn't really been at 100 percent for six or seven months. We’ve had to take a different approach now, which means he isn't someone we’re counting on in the immediate future," said Tullberg.

Since the autumn, Mikel Gogorza has been struggling with hip and groin pain, and it's the same problems that prevent him from getting back into action.

The young Dane has made 67 appearances for FC Midtjylland, recording nine goals and 11 assists. According to Transfermarkt, he is under contract with "the Wolves" until the end of 2029.
