Lyngby 3-3 FC Nordsjaelland
Lyngby looked like a certain winner on home turf as enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 lead with 20 minutes to go against FC Nordsjaelland, but the visitors managed to turn the game on its head on Sunday afternoon.
FC Nordsjaelland scored three goals in six minutes from the 71st to the 77th minutes to secure a 3-3 draw in the Superliga.
The drama reached its peak in stoppage time when the visitors' Nicklas Rojkjaer missed a penalty right at the end of the game. Lyngby otherwise seemed to have complete control of proceedings after Simon Colyn gave them the lead after 17 minutes and Gustav Fraulo and Frederik Gytkjaer added to the lead in the 32nd and 61st minutes.
But the visitors weren't inclined to surrender and Justin Janssen sparked a turnaround for FC Nordsjaelland when he cut the deficit in the 71st minute. Runar Norheim and Malte Heyde then managed to restore parity before Rojkjaer missed the opportunity to give the visitors all three points in the dying seconds
Lyngby’s collapse leaves the club sitting in last place while FC Nordsjaelland are in fourth place.
Sonderjyske 4-0 Silkeborg
Silkeborg IF had a nightmare start in Haderslev, where conceding a goal after just 13 seconds—compounded by an early red card—made conditions extremely difficult against the home side
Sonderjyske quickly capitalized on their numerical advantage, overwhelmed Silkeborg, and secured a 4-0 victory on home turf.
The three points were crucial for Sonderjyske, who are fighting to climb away from the bottom of the Superliga. For Silkeborg, however, this marked their heaviest defeat of the season, leaving them outside the top six after 11 rounds of play.
The home fans in Haderslev could hardly have dreamed of a better start to Sunday’s encounter. The match had barely kicked off before Sonderjyske surged toward the Silkeborg goal. Osaze De Rosario played the ball to Dalton Wilkins, who found the back of the net after just 13 seconds.
Bad then went ffrom ad to worse for the visitors when Villads Westh was sent off after 18 minutes and the home side capitalized on their numerical advantage to score further goals through Stefan Velkov, Mohamed Cherif and Teodor Haltvik to secure a comfortable win.
