Andreas Hansen and Gavin Beavers, who were called in as a substitutute, as Brondby were missing their best three keepers due to injury and suspension, ensured the first goalless match between Brondby and FC Nordsjaelland in 13 years.
After wins against AGF, FC Midtjylland and FC Copenhagen, Brondby's comeback in the race for the Danish title stumbled, when the home side were held to a goalless draw against FC Nordsjaelland in the Championship playoffs.
FC Nordsjaelland enjoyed most of the possession throughout the match but Brondby fashioned most of the chances in a match where FCN keeper Andreas Hansen kept the scoreline at bay with a series of spectacular saves.

The same can be said for Brondby's 19-year-old American Gavin Beavers who kept a clean sheet in his senior debut on Danish soil, although he wasn't kep that busy during the match.
Together, Hansen and Beavers ensured the first goalless draw between the teams in almost 13 years.
Thanks to the draw, Brondby failed to catch up with FC Midtjylland and FC Copenhagen at the top of the table and lost a vital step in the race for the title with just six matches remaining.
FC Nordsjaelland is sixth and last in the championship table, but is only four points behind Brondby in third place.
