It was a footballing weekend with many highs and lows, so check out Flashscore's biggest winners and losers from another few days of incredible action.

Winner - Justin Kluivert

The Dutchman made Premier League history with the hat-trick he scored for Bournemouth this weekend!

And he wasted no time in doing so. In the third minute, Kluivert scored from the penalty spot. He then repeated the feat in the 18th and 74th minutes. In doing so, he became the first player in the Premier League to score a hat-trick from the penalty spot.

He made a major contribution to his team's 4-2 victory over Wolves, making him the man of the match.

Loser - Jose Sa

The clash between Wolverhampton and Bournemouth was not just marked by Kluivert's great performance, It also saw Joss Sa lose his cool. Indeed, the match was already high tension as the two sides battled for crucial points, with Wolves fighting for safety.

The Portuguese goalkeeper remained on the pitch at half-time when the score was 3-1 in favour of the Cherries. He then walked over to the stand behind him and pointed at a supporter. A tense exchange ensued, with security having to intervene and the fan being sent off.

In addition to this incident, Sa conceded four goals and committed fouls for two penalties... so it was certainly not his day.

Winner - The Portuguese women's team

On a more positive note now! The Portuguese women's football team also broke a record, with the attendance at Porto's Dragon Stadium when they hosted the Czech Republic on Friday hitting 40,189.

In front of such a large crowd, the Selecao das Quinas drew the match 1-1, but they did make some more history.

Not only was the attendance great, so was the viewing experience! In terms of viewing figures, the match topped the ratings (2.2 million views, representing a 19% share of the Portuguese market).

Loser - Gregore

Moving on to South America. This weekend saw the Copa Libertadores final between Botafogo and Atletico Mineiro. And the hostilities got underway from the very start of the match, to say the least.

Over-committed Botafogo midfielder Gregore tried to win the ball back in the first minute, and in doing so, he hit Fausto Vera on the head and was immediately sent off. As a result, Botafogo had to play the entire match with 10 men.

The Rio de Janeiro club nevertheless won 3-1.

Winner - Olympique de Marseille

Marseille won just their second match at home this season! After months of struggles on their own turf, the Marseille players played a tough game against Monaco, but ended up pulling off a 2-1 triumph to move into second place behind PSG in Ligue 1.

It has to be said that before the game, Roberto De Zerbi was still not comfortable with the idea of playing at home. "We need to get used to the Velodrome. We need to express our full potential," he told a press conference on Saturday.

In the end, they succeeded in doing just that. They had previously not won at home since September 14th.

Loser - Barcelona

Barcelona had dominated LaLiga since the start of the year, but now they are being caught by their rivals. They faced Las Palmas on Saturday and were expected to win. However, it was not to be.

Barca lost 2-1 at home, leaving the door open to Real Madrid and Atletico. Now just one and two points adrift of their rivals, Barca's string of poor performances means they need to get their act together if they are to maintain their dominance of the Spanish league.

Winner - Liverpool / Loser - Manchester City

What can we say about Liverpool other than that they are currently one of the best teams in Europe, if not the best?

The Reds had a date with Manchester City in one of the clashes of the season, and they did not disappoint. Arne Slot's side were phenomenal and claimed a comfortable 2-0 victory thanks to Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah. They now lead the Premier League by nine points from Arsenal and Chelsea.

City, meanwhile, suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in the league, and are winless in their last seven in all competitions. Pep Guardiola's side have now dropped to fifth in the Premier League.
