Goalkeeper

Alphose Areola, 7.7 (West Ham)

West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola enjoyed a successful afternoon at Old Trafford on Sunday, making five saves en route to a clean sheet and valuable three points for the Hammers.

The Frenchman was reliable when called upon and now had four clean sheets for the campaign.

Defence

Mats Wieffer, 8.1 (Brighton)

Mats Wieffer has often had to play out of position since arriving at Brighton last summer and was deployed at right-back in their 2-0 win against Wolves.

The midfielder stepped up to the challenge rather well, though, and put in a solid defensive showing with a staggering nine tackles and six clearances.

Sven Botman, 8.3 (Newcastle)

Despite taking a nasty elbow to the head during Newcastle's 2-0 win over Chelsea, Sven Botman enjoyed a typically solid afternoon at the heart of the Magpies' defence.

Botman excelled for the hour that he was on the pitch and contributed with three clearances, two blocks, two tackles and an interception.

Michael Keane, 8.3 (Everton)

Michael Keane got a rare goal during Everton's 3-1 comeback victory away at Fulham while also helping his side to keep the hosts at bay when under pressure.

The Englishman rose highest from a corner to head home and give his side the lead midway through the second half.

Marc Guehi, 7.9 (Crystal Palace)

Another solid defensive performance came from Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi, who featured on the left side of a back three against Spurs.

Guehi put in a superb showing to help keep the hosts at bay, making five tackles, five clearances and three interceptions.

Midfield

Morgan Gibbs-White, 8.0 (Nottingham Forest)

Morgan Gibbs-White excelled in Nottingham Forest's 2-2 draw with rivals Leicester, grabbing a goal and an assist at the City Ground.

The midfielder has been one of Forest's best players in an incredible campaign so far and continued to prove himself as one of the league's better attacking midfielders - even if the result was an ultimately frustrating one for the Champions League hopefuls.

Tomas Soucek, 8.1 (West Ham)

Tomas Soucek opened the scoring at Old Trafford in West Ham's 2-0 win against Manchester United.

Eberechi Eze, 8.6 (Crystal Palace)

This week's best performer was Eberechi Eze, who earned an 8.6 rating after netting a brace in Crystal Palace's 2-0 win over Spurs.

Eze found himself with space in the box on two occasions and finished calmly to give his side a valuable win, earning our Player of the Week award in the process.

Forwards

Facundo Buonanotte, 8.0 (Leicester)

Facundo Buonanotte came off the bench to rescue a point for Leicester in their draw with rivals Forest.

Beto, 8.0 (Everton)

Beto maintained his solid run of form during the second half of the season with another goal in Everton's win at Fulham.

The striker capped off a superb comeback for the visitors after netting with a precise finish into the far corner, scoring his eighth league goal of the season.

Kevin Schade, 8.3 (Brentford)

Brentford strolled to a 1-0 win over Ipswich on Saturday afternoon with young forward Kevin Schade bagging the only goal of the game.

Schade flicked in an excellent header to secure all three points for the Bees, who kept their hopes of an eighth-place finish and potential European football alive.
