Another round of fixtures has passed, which means it's time to take a look at all the best performers in Flashscore's Premier League Team of the Week.

Liverpool picked up a huge win in the title race after beating Brentford 2-0 while  Manchester City returned to winning ways with a 6-0 thrashing away at Ipswich.

Elsewhere,  Manchester United's woes continued with a 3-1 defeat against Brighton and Arsenal blew a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Aston Villa.

Using our dedicated player ratings system, let's take a look at who makes Flashscore's Premier League Team of the Week.

GK - Alisson, 8.0 (Liverpool)

Alisson excelled in Liverpool's 2-0 win against Brentford, making six saves to ensure his side kept a clean sheet away at one of the trickiest grounds to visit in the division.

The Reds left it late to seal all three points but were in a position to do so because of their Brazilian shot-stopper, who continues to prove why he is one of the best in the world.

DEF - Trent Alexander-Arnold, 8.5 (Liverpool)

Another Liverpool player who stood out in their win over Brentford was Trent Alexander-Arnold, who continues to dispel any notions that he has his heart set on a move elsewhere with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old grabbed an assist in the dying embers of the match after playing an instinctive ball across the box for Darwin Nunez to fire home - ensuring Liverpool continue to set the pace in the title race.

DEF - Trevoh Chalobah, 8.4 (Chelsea)

Trevoh Chalobah has faced a bit of a turbulent week after being recalled from his loan with Crystal Palace to aid a Chelsea team facing a minor defensive crisis.

The Englishman was thrust straight into the team for the Blues' 3-1 win against Wolves and proved his worth straight away with a top performance.

Chalobah made seven clearances, three interceptions and one block while also picking up an assist.

DEF - Antonee Robinson, 8.0 (Fulham)

One of the Premier League's top-performing left-backs this season, Fulham's Antonee Robinson continued his good form during the Cottagers' 2-0 win against strugglers Leicester.

The defender excelled both defensively and offensively by making three tackles, three interceptions and three clearances while also playing one key pass and delivering three accurate crosses.

Fulham have now lost just once in their last 11 games with Robinson consistently one of their best performers in that time.

MID - Justin Kluivert, 9.5 (Bournemouth)

Bournemouth pulled off a huge 4-1 victory away at Newcastle over the weekend with Justin Kluivert playing a starring role - scoring a hat-trick against his father Patrick's former employers.

The Cherries were without several first-team players and came up against a Newcastle side on the cusp of a club-record win streak, but still managed to secure a famous triumph at St James' Park.

Kluivert's hat-trick was central to their success and the winger even grabbed an assist late in the game to top off an excellent showing.

MID - Mateo Kovacic, 9.0 (Manchester City)

Manchester City looked back to their best over the weekend with a 6-0 thrashing of Ipswich that featured top performances from several star players,

Mateo Kovacic picked up a goal and an assist in the rout and, in fairness, was unlucky not to come away with more after creating two big chances and playing three key passes.

Pep Guardiola's side have struggled for the last few months but will hope to have turned a corner with their big win over the weekend.

MID - Jesper Lindstrom, 8.4 (Everton)

David Moyes guided Everton to a superb 3-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday with Danish midfielder Jesper Lindstrom playing a starring role.

Lindstrom was deployed on the right-hand side and put in an exceptional performance - delivering four key passes and creating two big chances while also making five tackles, two interceptions and two clearances.

For the record, we know the Dane is a wide player but those positions are already taken in our side - so into midfield he goes.

MID - Yankuba Minteh, 8.3 (Brighton)

Brighton secured their third consecutive victory at Old Trafford last weekend, defeating Manchester United 3-1 with winger Yankuba Minteh playing a pivotal role.

The 20-year-old grabbed a goal and an assist on his way to sealing an 8.3 player rating - the highest of any in that match.

A word is also needed for Nottingham Forest's Callum Hudson-Odoi, who picked up a 9.0 rating in their win against Southampton but only played 38 minutes before being subbed off injured.

FWD - Phil Foden, 9.8 (Manchester City)

This week's top performer was Manchester City's Phil Foden after the Englishman scored a brace and got an assist in the 6-0 win away at Ipswich.

City's talisman now has five goals already in 2025, the most of any player in the Premier League.

Foden has largely struggled for form this season but was back to his best at Portman Road to earn a 9.8 Flashscore rating - the highest of any player across the weekend's fixtures, making him our Premier League Player of the Week!

FWD - Darwin Nunez, 8.7 (Liverpool)

Darwin Nunez was Liverpool's unlikely hero at the weekend after netting twice in added time to seal a 2-0 win over Brentford.

The striker has been the subject of plenty of criticism in recent weeks after a series of poor performances and has been tipped for a move to Saudi Arabia, but proved his worth in the Reds' latest triumph.

Two well-taken goals from Nunez ensured Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the table.

FWD - Jeremy Doku, 8.6 (Manchester City)

Jeremy Doku was one of City's key contributors in their win over Ipswich, with the winger providing a goal and an assist.

The Belgian was in fine form on Sunday afternoon and tormented the opposition's defence with four successful dribbles, two big chances created and three key passes.

City's win saw them rise back up to fifth in the table and 12 points off of top spot.
