Mohamed Salah (32) is showing no signs of slowing down as he recorded a goal and an assist in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Manchester City, making him Flashscore's Premier League Player of the Week.

The Reds opened up an 11-point gap to Arsenal at the top of the table with victory at the Etihad Stadium and Salah was yet again a huge influence for Arne Slot's team.

The Egyptian opened the scoring with a deflected strike from a cut-back before turning provider for Dominik Szoboszlai's effort.

It earned Salah a Flashscore player rating of 8.7, the joint highest of the week alongside Brentford's Christian Norgaard, who has been pipped due to being substituted at half-time in their win at Leicester.

Salah has become the first player to notch 25+ goals and 15+ assists in a Premier League season and is the first in Europe this season to be involved in 50 goals.

He is also the first player to score and assist in 11 Premier League games, which is the most by a player in one of Europe's top five leagues since Lionel Messi in 2014/15.

Salah and Liverpool will go again in the Premier League when they host Newcastle at Anfield on Saturday.
