Eredivisie side and KNVB Beker winners Go Ahead Eagles are set to face Real Betis and Aston Villa in their first European main draw since the late 1960s.

Following their promotion from the Eerste Divisie in 2021, Go Ahead Eagles have gradually improved in the Eredivisie and established themselves as a stable mid-table side.

The Eagles won their first major title in nearly 100 years when the Deventer side beat AZ after penalties to win the KNVB Beker in April.

The cup win secured the Deventer outfit their first proper European action since 1965, when Celtic knocked the Eagles out of the first round of the Europa Cup I.
