David Hancko could leave Feyenoord for an adventure in Saudi Arabia, according to Dutch sources. The Slovakian defender has reportedly attracted interest from Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr.

Hancko has been linked with a move away from Feyenoord for several transfer windows. Members of the Juventus board have publicly admitted their interest in the Slovakian stopper, and he was also vehemently linked with Atlético Madrid last summer.

The former Sparta Prague defender has been in the media in connection with a number of leading Premier League clubs, with a reunion with former coach Arne Slot at Liverpool in play, among others.

Now, for the first time, an interested party from outside the continent has come forward.

Al Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays his football, is trying to lure Hanco to the Middle East with a huge salary. The Saudi Arabian outfit is willing to make the Slovak the most expensive outgoing transfer in the history of the Rotterdam club - a record which was recently set by Santiago Giménez's January transfer to AC Milan, which cost the Italian side €32 million.

Hancko has a similar price tag in terms of estimated market value. However, it plays into Feyenoord's hands that the player is under contract until the summer of 2028, and they don't have to worry about a key defender leaving for free. Atlético have reportedly tried to open discussions in the past with a €15 million offer, but it was such an underwhelming proposition for the Rotterdam outfit that they didn't even want to negotiate with the Spaniard.

Money will not be a problem at a club that pays Ronaldo €200 million a year and bought Jhon Durán from Aston Villa for €77m in the winter. The interest from the sale of Hanco could throw several million euros at Sparta.

This season, the Slovakian centre-half has been directly involved in six goals across all competitions, enjoying an average rating of 7.2 in the league. Those interested in the player's services also value his availability - only in January did he lose his streak of 83 consecutive starts since his debut. Since then, he has been diligently starting every game again.

Feyenoord are already resigned to the stopper's summer departure, with Hancko having openly admitted to preferring a summer transfer.
