A new attendance record was set for the Danish women's A-league on Saturday when Brondby got their revenge from an earlier season defeat against FC Copenhagen when they won 2–1 at Parken stadium .

The home team turned it into a close match for much of the game, but poor defensive play prevented a repeat of the success seen in their first meeting at Brondby Stadium.

The visitors won 2–1, securing their fifth consecutive victory in the A-League.

The match was played in front of a record crowd of 8,047 spectators. This easily surpassed the previous A-League attendance record, set at Brondby Stadium in October 2025, when 6,128 fans attended.

After ten matches, Brondby sit in third place, chasing HB Koge at the top of the table.

Despite a surprise 3–1 victory in the first derby back in August, FC Copenhagen have struggled in the top flight managing only one further win and they are currently second bottom.

Consequently, the visiting Brondby side entered the match at Parken as clear favorites. Nevertheless, the first half was an evenly matched affair, and FC Copenhagen was just five minutes away from heading into the break with the score at 0–0.

However, just before halftime, Brondby launched a dangerous attack, and the FC Copenhagen defense failed to clear the ball effectively.

Seventeen-year-old Brondby talent Mila Bischoff was quick to react to a loose ball, passing it to Tilde Lindwall, who simply tapped it into the net.

FC Copenhagen's defenders once again ran into trouble in the second half allowing the visitors to double the lead. A passive Copenhagen rearguard allowed Brondby's Emilie Fink to receive the ball completely unmarked inside the box to fire home past FC Copenhagen goalkeeper Ann-Kathrin Dilfer.

The home side then received a lifeline in the 83rd minute when Maria Hovmark controlled a ball inside the Brondby box to find the net from close range.

However, Brondby held on to their narrow lead and claimed the three points.
