Stars 3-0 Devils
Goals from Miro Heiskanen (4), Jason Robertson (17), and Mikko Rantanen (12) were all that was needed for the Stars to improve to 18-5-5 on the season.
Both Jamie Benn (5) and Esa Lindell (7) picked up two assists each, while goaltender Jake Oettinger picked up his second shutout of the season and the 14th of his career.
It's the fourth time this season he's recorded at least 30 saves in a game.
New Jersey dropped their third straight as they fell to 16-10-1.
Flyers 5-2 Sabres
After Jason Zucker (8) put the Sabres up 1-0, Philly would respond with four straight goals, three in the first period alone from Travis Konecny (6), Trevor Zegras (10), Bobby Brink (7).
Noah Cates (6) would score the fourth after just 1:45 into the second period before Buffalo's Bowen Byram (6) responded to slash the lead in half 4-2.
Philly would keep pouring on shortly after, thanks to a goal from Owen Tippett (9) to put his Flyers up 5-2 heading into the third period, where both teams put up goose eggs.
The Flyers jumped back into the win column as they improved to 15-8-3 on the season. After winning back-to-back games, the Sabres fell to 11-12-4.
Canadiens 3-2 Jets
Both teams exchanged one goal each before heading into the third period to tie it all up 2-2.
Mark Scheifele (14) scored the first for Winnipeg with an assist from Kyle Connor, who would score the team's second goal, which was assisted by Scheifele.
As for Montreal, Juraj Slafkovsky (9) capitalized on the team's lone power play for their first goal, with Oliver Kapanen (8) scoring just four minutes later in the second.
After a scoreless third and overtime, Cole Caufield hit the game-winning goal during the shootout as the Canadiens improved to 14-9-3.
Winnipeg has now lost six of their last seven games as they fell to 13-12-1 on the season.
Capitals 7-1 Sharks
Alex Ovechkin (14) scored two goals for the Caps as they're one period away from improving to 17-9-2 after a four-goal first.
Sonny Milano (4), Ryan Leonard, and Brandon Duhaime (4) put up the other goals for the Caps. Then Dylan Strome (6) joined in on the fun as he put the Caps up 6-0 right before heading into the third period, where Leonard (7) would score his second goal of the game, washing away any hope that was left from the Sharks.
San Jose fell to 13-12-3 on the season.
Mammoth 7-0 Ducks
Lawson Crouse (7), Dylan Guenther (10), and Ian Cole (2) scored three straight for the Mammoth through the first two periods as they improved to 13-12-3, ending their four-game skid.
Mason McTavish would've had the Ducks on the board with their first goal of the game, but was called back due to an offside penalty. So Utah's JJ Peterka (11) put the Mammoth up 4-0 with just under six minutes left in the second.
In the end, the Ducks couldn't find a way to rally as they fell to 16-10-1, but still sit atop the Pacific Division as they remain one point (33) ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights (32).
