KIF Kolding have sacked CEO Christian Hjermind after the club was relegated on Saturday evening following no less than 41 years in the Danish domestic league, Herreligaen

The KIF Kolding board on Monday sacked Christian Hjermind as CEO, syas the club in a press release.

"The board wishes to emphasize that there is a need for a fresh start, taking into account the club's new situation and the reconstruction that lies ahead."

"KIF Kolding wishes to thank Christian Hjermind for his great efforts for the club and wishes him good luck in the future", reads the press release.

The club does not mention if a decision has been taken in reference to who takes over from Hermind.

After winning only two matches in the regular season, Kolding, who have won the Danish title no less than 14 times, were condemned to relegation on Saturday for the first time in 41 years.
