Danish international goalkeeper Jannick Green will leave Paris St. Germain to play for HOJ Elite in the Danish Herreliga from the beginning of next season.

Jannick Green has been granted a three-year contract, and therefore, the 36-year-old keeper also expects that he can now finish his career in Denmark.

"I would like to try my hand in the Danish league. And when I started to explore the options, I spoke with HOJ, and I think the whole package they can present is extremely exciting."

"So it was very easy for me to say yes to it", says Green, who helped win the World Championship title for Denmark in January, to TV 2 Sport.

But before Jannick Green returns to the Danish league, the national team goalkeeper will have to finish the upcoming season in Paris, where he has played since 2022.

The Champions League is the overriding goal of the French major club, which is spearheaded by Danish Stefan Madsen and Henrik Mollgaard.

"I've seen HOJ's project as something new and a new challenge, and I think that's incredibly exciting. That's why I haven't thought about the Champions League being over. You never know what can be achieved at HOJ", says Green.
