Goalkeeper Sandra Toft has announced that she will not take part in the upcoming national team training camp for the women's handball team, which will feature two test matches against Germany on 9- and 12 April.
The experienced Györ goalkeeper is unable to make the trip due to hamstring problems.
In addition, Team Esbjerg goalkeeper Anna Kristensen will only be available in the first test match on 9 April.
"Anna, like many other players, has had a wild year. She was fully involved in the last training camp, and in consultation with Anna and Team Esbjerg, we have agreed that she will have a few days of rest before the rest of the season", says national team coach Jesper Jensen.
Amalie Milling has been called up to replace Sandra Toft, while Viborg's Louise Bak Jensen will join the training camp when Anna Kristensen returns to Esbjerg.
On that backgound, 23-year-old Louise Bak Jensen could be set for her national team debut.
Althea Reinhardt is also participating in a single national team training session on 8 April. The Odense goalkeeper made a comeback for Odense on Wednesday after a concussion sidelined her since the European Championship in December.
