A turbulent eleventh edition of the Dutch Darts Masters has entered the history books.

From Raymond van Barneveld’s thrilling win against Chris Dobey to Luke Littler’s victory in the World Championship final rematch with Michael van Gerwen, here are Flashscore’s highlights of the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters.

Wattimena’s spellbinding streak against Humphries

Jermaine Wattimena hoped to continue his good World Championship form at his home tournament in the Netherlands – his home town of Westervoort is only a one-hour drive away from the venue – but he faced a big challenge after drawing world number one Luke Humphries in the opening round.

The Machine Gun started the match by losing the opening two opening legs but hit back furiously with a 5-leg win streak, bagging consecutive ton plus finishes of 153 and 111 on his way to a 6-3 win over the former world champion.

Van Barneveld’s Raymondtada

Despite suffering from a nasty flu, crowd favourite Raymond van Barneveld gave the Dutch Darts Masters a go and showed the world what he has left in the tank in his duel with World Championship semifinalist Chris Dobey.

Down 5-4, Van Barneveld stormed back to force a deciding eleventh leg and pulled off a moment of pure magic in a dire situation.

With Humphries just one dart away from the win, Van Barneveld threw three perfect darts to finish from 144 out and send the home crowd into a frenzy with a vintage Barney win.

Van Barneveld would later crash out after losing his matchup with Stephen Bunting with 6-5, but the man they call Barney claimed he’d felt a joy he “hadn’t experienced in years” after beating Dobey.

Here’s to many more of those magical moments with your 'Barney Army', Raymond.

Littler topples the home town hero in highly coveted rematch

Teenage phenom Luke Littler was due to face off with World Championship final foe Michael van Gerwen at some point again and as fate would have it, the rematch would take place only 15 minutes from Michael’s home town of Vlijmen.

Van Gerwen – winner of six of the last eight editions of the Dutch Darts Masters – fell by the hands of Littler yet again after the reigning world champion beat the Green Machine 6-3 in the qualitatively most disappointing meeting between the two giants.

Dutch Disaster

With Raymond van Barneveld, Michael van Gerwen, Kevin Doets, and Jermaine Wattimena all progressing to the quarter-finals in Den Bosch, the Dutch crowd had high hopes for some Dutch Delight during Saturday’s sessions.

But Dutch Delight turned into a Dutch Disaster when all Dutch players got eliminated at the first time of asking with Stephen Bunting, Luke Littler, Gerwyn Price, and Rob Cross all putting daggers in the hearts of the fanatic fans.

Cardiac Cross finally conquers Europe

Rob Cross laid claim to his fifth World Tour title in ‘s Hertogenbosch after beating Stephen Bunting in the final 8 legs to 5.

The one-time world champion distinguished himself by bossing the finishes this weekend: ‘Voltage’ finished just one game with a checkout percentage below 50 percent.

By winning the Dutch Darts Masters, Cross finally won a World Tour title on European soil after winning tournaments in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
