Arizona Cardinals guard Chase Bisontis will undergo surgery to repair a torn MCL, according to multiple reports from NFL insiders.

His surgery is slated for next week, and it is said that he will make a full recovery. Tests came back showing that his ACL and the rest of his knee were intact.

Bisontis was selected by the Cardinals with the 34th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft back in April. He spent all three years of his collegiate career with Texas A&M.

This is now four straight season the Cardinals have lost a starting lineman to a significant injury.  Jon Gaines tore his ACL in 2023. Christian Jones missed two months in 2024 with an ankle injury. Hayden Conner missed most of his rookie season last year with a knee injury.

Now, Bisontis falls into their never-ending loop of injured linemen.

The Cardinals start their regular season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 13th.
