Gainwell, 26, will be getting paid $14 million across two years from the Bucs. He put up a career-high in: rushing yards (537), receiving yards (486), and total touchdowns (8) through 17 games last season.
It was the first season in Gainwell's five-year career in which he posted over 100 rushing attempts in a season - he finished with 114 in 2025. Gainwell was our No. 5 top free agent running back heading into the free agency period.
The team is also finalizing a deal with tight end Cade Otton.
Anzalone, 31, will be receiving $17 million across the two years. He finished the 2025 season five tackles short of 100, which would've marked the third time in the past four years he surpassed the feat. The vet did, however, set a career-high with nine pass deflections along with 2.5 sacks in 16 games.
Anzalone has established himself as a premier tackler after the last five seasons in Detroit, coming off a career low 6.9% missed tackling percentage.
