Boston Celtics extend Neemias Queta's contract after solid season from Portuguese star

The Boston Celtics announced on Monday that they have exercised the option in Neemias Queta's contract, extending the Portuguese international's stay with the Massachusetts team for another year.

Neemias Queta, it should be noted, played 83 games for the Boston Celtics last season, averaging 10.01 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

The Portuguese center will now receive a salary increase, after establishing himself as a key player for coach Joe Mazzulla.

In addition to Neemias Queta, the Celtics also announced that they have exercised the contract options for Jordan Walsh and Dalano Banton as well.
