Purdue's All-American guard Braden Smith (21) announced on Monday that he will be returning for his senior season.

Smith posted the announcement to his personal Instagram account saying: "There's still more to prove, more to accomplish, and more moments to create with my brothers."

Smith, who averaged 15.8 points, 8.7 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game this season, became Purdue's fourth straight consensus All-American, making it the first school in college basketball history to achieve such a feat.

Purdue's season came to an end after losing to Houston in the Sweet 16 of the 2025 NCAA tournament.

Smith will head into the new season as Purdue's all-time assist leader with 758.
