The Dallas Mavericks won the No. 1 overall pick for the 2025 NBA Draft during the lottery drawing on Monday night.
After trading Luka Doncic to the LAL during the regular season, the Mavericks are now expected to take Duke's star forward Cooper Flagg with the first overall pick.
Dallas has only a single first overall pick in their franchise history - in 1981 when they drafted three-time All-Star Mark Aguirre.
The last time the Mavs had a pick in the top three was in 1994 when they drafted Hall of Fame guard Jason Kidd.
