Carlton's 2025 campaign is considered to be all but shot and at least one fan has expressed their frustrations in a criminal manner.

Graffiti was sprayed on one wall of the Carlton headquarters at Ikon Park overnight as tempers amongst the Blues community flared further after Thursday night's 50-point loss away to Port Adelaide, which by weekend's end could leave them three wins outside of the top eight.

Messages including 'TDK (Tom de Koning) yes or no?', 'Sack the board', 'Sack Austin Lloyd' (referring to list manager Nick Austin and football director Brad Lloyd' and 'Keep Voss' were scrawled in spray paint on one exterior brick wall of Ikon Park at about 1am local time on Friday morning, according to a Victoria Police statement.

"Police are investigating after graffiti was sprayed on the wall of a sporting club on Royal Parade, Carlton North about 1am this morning," the statement read.

Carlton head coach Michael Voss continues to remain under intense scrutiny after the promise of their eighth-place finish in 2024 was not fulfilled, with the beleaguered AFL legend himself admitting earlier this month that the team's on-field performances are not where they should be at this point of his tenure.

Their efforts - or lack thereof in particular - were blasted on Thursday night by some television broadcasters such as Fox Footy's Jason Dunstall, who savaged their performance as "insipid".

"I'm really disappointed with the effort the Blues have shown," Dunstall said after the game.

"They are devoid of confidence. They looked to be devoid of hope. They've been devoid of skill in the first half. It's like the football world has just caved in on top of them and they don't know what to do."

Their dying campaign appears to have caused a rift amongst the Blues community about Voss' future in particular, with many attributing the team's woes solely to the players' attitude and effort, whilst others want a complete change in management.
