Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers hit three home runs during Tuesday's matchup against the Washington Nationals.

Update: Langeliers now has his first-ever five-hit game after hitting a double in the eighth inning, adding on to his three home runs and a single!

This is now Langelier's second-career three-home run game. Oakland Athletics

His third one came during the seventh inning on the second pitch he saw off relief pitcher Andry Lara

Langelier's second one came just a few innings prior after running a full count on pitcher Orlando Ribalta.

Meanwhile, his first came off the fourth pitch of the game against Washington Nationals ace MacKenzie Gore with a 1-2 fastball over the heart of the plate.

Heading into the game, Langeliers had 19 homers with 45 RBI while slashing .261/.313/.507. Now? Those numbers are up to .272/.323/.545 with 22 homers and 48 RBI.

The 27-year-old's 22 homers tie Colorado's Hunter Goodman for second most in the MLB among catchers, with Seattle's Cal Raleigh in the lead with almost twice that (42).
