The New York Jets have reportedly made the decision to release star wide receiver Davante Adams.
With a $38.2M cap number, the Jets decided it was in their best interest to part ways with Adams, and he is now free to sign for any team.
Adams was brought in from the Las Vegas Raiders last season and played 11 games for the Jets.
The Jets went 5-12 as they seriously struggled, but Adams recorded 67 receptions on 114 targets for 854 yards and seven touchdowns.
