Super Bowl LIX garnered a record-breaking 126 million US viewers who watched the Philadelphia Eagles beat down the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday by a score of 40-22

Fox Sports released the estimated total number on Monday ahead of the full concrete number that'll be released by Nielsen on Tuesday.

The broadcast counted those who watched the big game on the following networks: FOX Sports, FOX Deportes, and Telemundo, along with streaming service Tubi and multiple NFL services with companies paying up to around $8 million just for a simple 30-second commercial during the game.

CBS broadcasted the Super Bowl last year between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers which reached 123.7 million viewers.

Despite many fans taking to social media to advocate not watching the game due to the Chiefs making it for the third straight year, it looks like reality showed that nobody should take comments on social media seriously.
