The two parties already met for an interview earlier this week. But according to the league, the two sides cannot meet again, or hire Moore, until after the Super Bowl.
Under Moore in his first season with Philly, the Eagles' offence ranked eighth overall (29th in passing, second in rushing) and seventh in scoring.
Moore was previously the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023, in which the offence ranked 18th, and the Dallas Cowboys for four years (2019-2022). In both 2019 and 2021, the Cowboys finished with the number-one overall offence under Moore.
The team also interviewed New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka (37) and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver (44) as they remain the only NFL team without a head coach right now. New Orleans fired former head coach Dennis Allen mid-season after a 2-7 start.
