The Los Angeles Rams signed running back Kyren Williams to a three-year, $33 million contract extension on Tuesday.
Williams' new deal that'll keep him on the Rams through the 2028 season includes $23 million in guaranteed money.
The 24-year-old running back is one of the NFL standout young stars. After a quiet rookie season with zero starts, Williams emerged dramatically in 2023, leading the league with 95.3 yards per game on the ground.
He finished that season with 1,350 total yards (1,114 rushing) and 15 total touchdowns (12 rushing), earning Second-Team All-Pro honours in his very first full season as a starting running back.
In 2024, Williams went even further beyond, posting 1,481 total yards (1,299 rushing) and 16 total touchdowns (14 rushing) while leading the entire NFL in touch rate.
