It is finals day in the tennis world, with champions to be crowned in Berlin, Nottingham, Halle and Queen's. With just over a week until Wimbledon gets underway, who can make an early statement? Meanwhile, events also begin in Bad Homburg and Mallorca.

20:45 CET - That's all from us here on the Tennis Tracker after what was an exciting day of finals.

Be sure to tune in again tomorrow as the grass-court swing continues in the lead-up to Wimbledon!

20:06 CET - In the final match of the day, Daniel Altmaier got the better of veteran Fabio Fognini in Bad Homburg, battling to a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 victory.

19:41 CET - Elina Svitolina got the better of Elise Mertens in a hard-fought match at Bad Homburg, defeating the Belgian 7-5, 6-4 to move into the second round.

17:43 CET - Moving over to Bad Homburg, recent Queen's champion Tatjana Maria has suffered a first-round loss to Leylah Fernandez, falling 6-0, 7-6(1) to the Canadian.

17:19 CET - Carlos Alcaraz has clinched the Queen's title for a second time! The Spaniard was really made to work by the impressive Jiri Lehecka, but ultimately, he was just too good, triumphing 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-2 as he extends his winning streak to a career-best 18 matches.

Despite losing the second set on a tiebreak, Alcaraz's serving was at a sky-high level, clobbering down 18 aces and not conceding a single break point today. He has served immaculately all week, and he will undoubtedly be the favourite as he looks to retain his Wimbledon crown.

Lehecka can be proud of his effort this week, and he himself has shown that he can be a dangerous player on grass with his serving and heavy hitting.

16:53 CET - Jiri Lehecka is going nowhere! The Czech has found a way to eek out the second set, hanging in long enough and pouncing to win the tiebreak against Carlos Alcaraz. A final set shootout now to decide the Queen's champion.

16:33 CET - Alexander Bublik is the champion in Halle! A player with supreme talent, Bublik has often never really taken tennis too seriously. However, after a run to the French Open quarter-finals, the Kazakh has now followed that up with the title in Halle, proving just how much ability he truly has.

After defeating Jannik Sinner in the second round, he has now claimed a 6-3, 7-6(4) win over Daniil Medvedev in the final, clinching the crown he won back in 2023. An incredible moment for him, and he cut an emotional figure at the end.

Major disappointment for Medvedev, however, who was targeting his first title in over two years. Prior to today, he had beaten Bublik six times in a row, but he will now have to settle for second place.

09:00 CET - Good morning and welcome back to the Tennis Tracker on a massive day of action, which will see four champions be crowned!

Up first at 12:00 CET, 2023 Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova will be looking to put her injury woes behind her as she takes on surprise package Xinyu Wang in the showpiece event in Berlin.

The Czech has beaten Madison Keys, Diana Shnaider and Aryna Sabalenka to get to the final, showcasing her supreme grass court skills, as she eyes her first title since she won Wimbledon. Meanwhile, Wang has stunned Coco Gauff and Liudmila Samsonova, and will be looking to win her first-ever WTA crown.

That is followed by the Nottingham final at 13:00 CET, with McCartney Kessler coming up against Dayana Yastremska.

Both the Halle and Queen's finals begin simultaneously at 15:00 CET. In Germany, Daniil Medvedev will be going out to win his first title in two years, but the enigmatic Alexander Bublik stands in his way.

The Kazakh has been playing some fine tennis in the last few weeks, beating world number one Jannik Sinner in the last 16. Meanwhile, Medvedev outlasted Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals, overcoming the home favourite for a fourth straight win against him.

In London, Carlos Alcaraz is targeting his second Queen's title, and the two-time Wimbledon champion will be the favourite against Czech Jiri Lehecka. Both players have looked in excellent touch this week, so it should make for a great final, with the latter standing on the cusp of the biggest title of his career.

Additionally, there are events getting started in Bod Homburg and Mallorca, too. In the former, Yulia Putintseva faces Maria Sakkari, Emma Navarro goes head to head with Marta Kostyuk for the second time in consecutive tournaments, while Elina Svitolina and WTA Queen's champion Tatjana Maria will also take to the court.
