Goalkeeper

Ederson (Fenerbahce) - 8.0

In goal, former Manchester City star Ederson helped Fenerbahce snatch a point from the Czech Republic with six saves against Plzen.

Defenders

Jonjoe Kenny (PAOK) - 8.3

In the impressive 4-0 win over Young Boys, England's Jonjoe Kenny was a constant source of trouble on the right flank.

While he shone defensively with his robustness, he was also regularly involved in the offence. The 28-year-old set up left-back Abdul Rahman Baba's 76th-minute effort.

Milan Skriniar (Fenerbahce) - 8.1

Like his Brazilian goalkeeper, Milan Skriniar proved just how important he is to Fenerbahce thanks to his excellent defensive work.

In the draw in Plzen, the Slovakian won two out of three headers and proved to be more than just an unpleasant opponent on the ground, winning 10 of 11 duels.

Carlos Dominguez (Celta Vigo) - 8.1

Celta Vigo recorded their third win in four games in their 3-0 triumph at Dinamo Zagreb. With 13 clearances to his name, Carlos Dominguez's spirited defensive work was instrumental in helping Celta keep a clean sheet on the road.

The 24-year-old also played an effective part in the build-up play time and again, with 88 per cent of his 78 passes reaching a teammate.

Aleksa Terzic (RB Salzburg) - 8.8

Serbian left-back Aleksa Terzic was the outstanding player on the pitch in Austrian side's 2-0 win against Go Ahead Eagles from the Netherlands.

Terzic first set up the opening goal and then scored himself in the 80th minute to seal the win. He also impressed defensively, winning three of his five duels on the ground.

Midfielders

Vincenzo Grifo (SC Freiburg) - 8.7

While things are not going as well as hoped for Freiburg in the Bundesliga, the Breisgauers are impressing in the Europa League. After the 3-1 away win at Nice, they are unbeaten in second place.

However, the hosts were the better team in the early stages and deservedly took the lead. A few minutes before the break, however, it was captain Vincenzo Grifo who put his team ahead from the spot and set the course for the comeback victory.

Giannis Konstantelias (PAOK) - 9.1

Giannis Konstantelias pulled the strings in the centre of PAOK's midfield against Young Boys. The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the biggest talents in Greek football and once again showed his qualities in the thumping win against Bern.

Four of his seven dribbles were successful and with his excellent passing ability in the final third (20/26) he initiated numerous dangerous attacks.

Xherdan Shaqiri (Basel) - 9.3

After two defeats from their first three games, Basel were already under a bit of pressure against FCSB. Shaqiri took the reins into his own hands and carried his team to a 3-1 home win against the Romanians with an outstanding performance.

The 34-year-old first scored from the penalty spot but after the visitors equalised, the he scored a second and finally decided the game with his assist for substitute Ibrahim Salah.

Mikel Gogorza (Midtjylland) - 9.3

Midtjylland are one of the surprise teams of the current Europa League season. The Danes are top of the table with 12 points from four games. With three goals in eight minutes, they decided the duel against Celtic shortly before the break.

The 19-year-old Mikel Gorgoza played a decisive role in the goals. While he assisted the opener, the Dane found the net himself just two minutes later.

Forwards

Franculino (Midtjylland) - 8.3

The 21-year-old Franculino is playing his way more and more into the notebooks of the European heavyweights. In the triumph over Celtic, the Guinea-Bissau striker once again got himself on the scoresheet. His goal to make it 3-0 snatched the last hope of points from the Scots.

Pablo Duran (Celta Vigo) - 8.4

Alongside centre-back Dominguez, a second Celta Vigo player has made it into our selection. Pablo Duran only had 23 touches of the ball during his 63 minutes of action, but the 24-year-old made the most of them.

Thanks to his early opener, the striker put the Spaniards on the road to success early on and cemented the home win with his brace shortly before the break.
