The Baltimore Orioles signed starting pitcher Kyle Bradish to a five-year, $90 million contract extension on Saturday.

Bradish, 29, hasn't allowed more than three runs in each of his last five starts and is tossing a 3.61 earned run average this season with 106 strikeouts through 107.1 innings in 19 starts.

The Arizona native had only made 14 starts in the previous two seasons combined after undergoing Tommy John surgery in June 2024.

After a brutal June in which Bradish put up a 4.55 ERA in five starts, his stats in July have taken a turn for the better. He has a 2.51 ERA this month, while opposing batters are hitting just .140 off of him.

Bradish placed fourth in Cy Young Award voting in 2023 after he finished the season with 168 strikeouts in 168.2 innings, tossing a career-best 2.83 ERA.

The former fourth-round pick of the 2018 MLB Draft made his big-league debut after the Orioles acquired him from the Los Angeles Angels in a 2019 trade deal that sent Dylan Bundy to the West Coast.

Bundy retired in 2024 after having not pitched in the majors since 2022.
