The Green Bay Packers and star cornerback Jaire Alexander (28) could be parting ways ahead of the 2025 season after ESPN sources confirmed on Wednesday that the team will be fielding trade offers.

Alexander, who has only played in seven games in each of the past two seasons, still has two years left on his current contract worth $37 million.

"I think obviously we've talked about there's been a lot of frustration on his part," said Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst (51). "He wants to be out there badly, and not being able to be out there at his best has frustrated him, and that has frustrated our football team, too, because we're better with him. But we'll see."

Despite his injury history of only playing in one full season throughout his entire seven-year career, the two-time Pro Bowler and Second Team All-Pro is now the most coveted cornerback back on the market this offseason.

In his seven games this past season, Alexander posted 16 tackles with seven pass deflections and two interceptions (one for a touchdown).

The Baltimore Ravens are currently the favourites at +300 to land Alexander in a trade. Baltimore had the second-worst pass defence last season, giving up 244.1 yards per game and 4,150 passing yards in total.

However, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta (53) recently came out and said the team is "scrambling for couch money" in terms of making big moves in free agency this offseason.

So unless the Ravens move money around, a trade to them is unlikely.
